Next the flat wire corrosion resistant coated spring seats inside the case with its outer most end secured into a cast in slot. Teflon tape circles between the spring winding to lubricate for trouble free operation. A lubricated wear-grade plastic spring bushing provides a wear surface between the spring case and arm. The cast aluminum arm fits in place over the pivot tube bushing. The torqued spring loads into a specially machined slot inside the arbor of the arm which holds the inner most end of the spring to maintain torque.
